What you enter stays on your device
Text you paste, and any .txt or .md files you choose for batch cleaning, are read and cleaned on your device and are never sent to our server. The copy button writes the result to your clipboard only when you click it. There are no accounts and no sign-up.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not use cookies. If you unlock Pro, your browser's local storage keeps the unlock flag. Your text is never stored; clearing this site's data removes the flag.
Analytics and third parties
- We count page views with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not store your IP address. It records things like the page you opened, the referring site, browser type, screen size and approximate country.
- The optional $4.99 one-time Pro unlock is paid on a Stripe page. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and are never seen by us; Stripe shares with us only what is needed for the payment, such as the amount and your email. After payment Stripe sends you back to this site, which saves an unlock flag in your browser.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
What we do not do
We do not sell data, show ads, or build profiles of visitors.
